The garden party
An afternoon at ours with summer cocktails, a big barbecue, music, games and everyone we love in one place. When it gets later, the pizza truck takes over — and anyone still going can head into Harrogate with us.

The rough plan
No strict schedule. Just a very good Saturday.
Come when you can and stay as long as you like. This is the rough idea, not a military operation.
From 3pm
Arrivals, welcome cocktails and music in the garden.
Late afternoon
The barbecue gets going, along with garden games and plenty of photographs.
Early evening
A few words, cake and music as the lights come on.
Later on
The pizza truck arrives, the music gets louder and the beer pong table comes out.
Around 10pm
Anyone still going can head into Harrogate town centre with us.
Food & Drink
Come hungry and thirsty.
We'll be providing all the food and drinks (including alcohol) so all you need to do is turn up and enjoy yourself. The barbecue will be served through the afternoon, followed by a pizza truck in the evening, with drinks available from start to finish.

Arriving later in the evening for round two, just as everyone starts getting hungry again.

A small menu of properly made cocktails, mixed fresh in the garden throughout the afternoon and evening.

Cold beer, good wine, soft drinks and alcohol-free options will all be available throughout.
What to wear
Summer garden party
Think colour, florals, linen, relaxed tailoring and a good shirt. Smart and summery without being overly formal — there's no need for suits or ties. Some of the party will be on the lawn, so choose your shoes accordingly.
Still going?
Harrogate afterwards
We'll wrap things up at home at around 10pm. Anyone who wants to carry on can head into Harrogate town centre with us — it's roughly five minutes away by Uber.
