Your details, looked after

We collect the information you choose to provide through the RSVP form—your name, attendance response, guest names, optional mobile number, email address and any dietary requirements—to manage the party, send RSVP confirmations and provide relevant event updates.

We use trusted hosting, database and transactional-email providers only to operate the website, store your RSVP securely and deliver the messages you have requested. We do not sell your information, use it for advertising or send unrelated marketing.

The website is hosted on Lovable's platform (built on Cloudflare's network), your RSVP is stored in a managed, access-controlled database, and confirmation emails are sent through Lovable's transactional email service from notify.victoriaandjamie.co.uk. These providers process the information only on our behalf.

We keep RSVP records until three months after the engagement party and then delete them. You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@victoriaandjamie.co.uk.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and there is no third-party tracking on this website. We set two strictly necessary cookies: one that remembers you have entered the party password, and one that remembers you have confirmed you are attending so the private address can be shown to you. Both are encrypted, readable only by our server and expire automatically.

Confirmed guests are emailed a private directions link. It is a random, single-purpose code that reveals nothing about you, is stored only as an irreversible hash and expires. Please keep it to yourself, and email us if you would like it cancelled.

If you choose to join the WhatsApp community, WhatsApp will process your information under its own privacy terms. Other community members may be able to see your phone number and profile information. Joining is entirely optional.
